A solar power water well will be a sustainable project aimed at providing safe drinking water and assisting families and villagers in irrigating small fields to preserve their small-scale agricultural projects.

The average well depth in Pakistan varies by region. In some parts of the country with higher water tables, wells can be relatively shallow, around 5–20 meters (16–645 feet). In arid regions or areas with deeper aquifers, wells may need to reach a depth of 30 to 60 meters with a lifespan of 30 years; this would include regular maintenance of the well.
